Our clients, who are psychedelic advocates and volunteer trip sitters at various events and festivals, wanted a home that felt safe and comfortable, as well as stimulating. The house sits in one of Bend’s oldest and most enchanting neighborhoods, First on the Hill.
Using the home’s floor plan to our advantage, we envisioned a specific purpose for each room: a reading room, a cozy lounge by the fireplace, and a calming living room to rest and reset. We used color strategically to keep the space playful and curious, while also creating cohesion and an organic flow. Custom art was commissioned and selected to bring an extra layer of personality.

The result is a space that feels comfortable, inviting, and joyful. The addition of a hidden door at the end of the hallway brings an elegant element of jest that reflects our clients’ personalities. Intentional layers of color, texture, and pattern transformed what was once a series of white rooms, some with challenging layouts, into a warm, welcoming home that invites you to listen to your inner needs

"Every day, we feel so lucky to get to live in this house. And we continue to live kind of in a state of shock that this weird, white-walled house looks so beautiful now."
