Located in Bend, Oregon’s Awbrey Butte neighborhood, this house boasted a family-friendly floor plan, abundant natural light, and beautiful architectural features. We worked closely with our clients to reimagine their home by addressing areas that did not meet their needs: the primary bathroom felt cavernous, the mudroom and laundry room lacked storage and functionality, and the guest bathroom was dark and impractical.
Drawing inspiration from our client’s lifestyle, updates they had made since purchasing the house, and elements from its Craftsman-style architecture, we designed each space with a focus on simple lines, shapes, and a material palette that resonated with both contemporary and traditional design principles, ensuring it felt integrated with the home’s overall aesthetic.
The final design brings a unique balance of texture and warmth, resulting in a home that seamlessly integrates style and functionality, perfect for family life, entertainment, and relaxation.
