This home’s original utility room, which included a laundry room, mudroom, and a half-bathroom, was tight, dark, and lacked storage. Accessibility was also a key component of the redesign.
We created a visually cohesive space to meet our client’s lifestyle and design preferences by bringing in a material palette that reflected their personalities while continuing to speak to the house’s architectural details. By using small scale tile we created a grippier surface, using the same flooring through out the space also meant we avoided tripping hazards. The final result is a re-imagined space that blends utility function with inviting beauty.
